How do you view his performance during the pandemic?

Cuomo is making your boy look comatose.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way. The Big Grifter should have disappeared in our rear-view mirrors at this point.

Not previously a fan, (even less so of his little brother) but I have to say that by any yardstick one could care to use, (conveying useful information, confidence, empathy, etc.) he's coming across much more like a President should than the POS-I-C...
The contrast could not be more stark...
Yeah, I know, low bar...an organ grinder's monkey would come across as more "Presidential" than Il Boobce, but nevertheless...

Good job, I guess. But I am as sick of seeing him as I am of Trump.

Comparing him to the president is of absolutely no use; few, if any, people would compare unfavorably with him.
Personally, I think Cuomo's (and my own governor Murphy's) are mixed--some things were good, but Cuomo especially jumped the gun on many things--getting unused ventillators because he thought they were "needed", spent tons of money on mostly unused facilities (like Javitts), came out with self-aggrandizing ideas (like give all healthcare workers a 50% bonus--what about the others (like garbage collectors, delivery people, store clerks? And whose money is being used for it?). But, like most politicians, they thought they knew more than their advisors) . On the plus side, he tried to communicate frequently and clearly, and often did.
As I said a while back, I am no fan of his strong arm tactics and macho bluster, but arrogance appears to work for many in politics.

Not to say I agree with him but most of those other jobs do not require direct prolonged contact with the infected.

I'm not so sure CP; contact with garbage of infected people is probably pretty hazardous, ditto for people coming into contact with infected people in stores; and unlike hospital workers, I doubt many of those people have training or equipment to deal with it such as those in hospitals do.
I am not trying to denigrate the efforts of medical personnel, but to me this smacks more of self promotion than anything else.

Excellent job of explaining why "I am as sick of seeing him as I am of Trump".

There is a real shortage on PPE and hospital workers are getting by with what they got risking themselves and their families to help those who are known to have the disease and whose job description negates social distancing.

Definitely true, but I can pretty much guarantee you that the bulk of the best equipment goes to the hsopitals, and not other places where people could well be contaminated.
