Pulse Opinion Research, which has Trump ahead by a point in North Carolina, is Scott Rasmussen's old firm, so grain of salt. PPP, which is based in NC, had Biden ahead by two in a poll just outside the current window.

This is all very well and good, but the polls in 2016 said, right up until Election Day, that Trump couldn't win.

Personally, I'd be much happier if the map would end up looking more like this:

The polls in 2016 never said that Trump couldn't win. Nor are the polls saying that now.
