He has elevated the sideswipe criticism to an art form. When the press try to goad him into criticizing Trump, he makes his feelings known without directing a single word against the Cheeto-in-Chief or his actions, by pivoting to a "this is how it's done in Canada" response that provides a clear contrast to Trump's nutbar move of the day, while keeping Trudeau immunized against any accusation that he is lecturing the U.S. or meddling in its affairs.

That was one of the best dramatic pauses I've not heard in a long time. Guaranteed not to be recognized, nor understood, by our POS-in-Chief.

He would have a MUCH more contentious relationship with Trudeau if he was conscious of how often Trudeau is giving him a surreptitious elbow to the ribs.

Trump will tweet that "Trudeau is so dumb it took him forever to process that question then not even answer it. MAGA! OBAMAGATE! KINGME!"
