You might as well muse about Frey painting "WHITE LIVES MATTER."

There's not much difference. "All" or "white" would be synonymous considering the mood at the moment.

Why do I wish they had misspelled one of the words?

Back in WV a fire chief I know is another example of dumb assery. Other than being a dumb ass he's OK. He thought posting his picture wearing the shirt was funny. The governor immediately removed him from the state fire commission for promoting violence. He may have learned something. He's still a dumb ass. Bowser too.

How could someone think that message is OK?

That's a good question, Ray. I'm been wondering if he's done anything else that indicates he's racist. AFAIK, there was only one Black family in the county. Their house burned down. It was not arson. The community came together to support them afterwards,

I've been involved in several incidents when he was responsible for seeing that something was done and he fucked up. The fire dept. bought a new tanker that has a stainless steel tank. The builder told the dept. that a gallon of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) would have to be added to the tank each time it was filled to maintain the warranty. The reason being in some areas of the country there's a bacteria that "eats" stainless welds to the point they become porous.

All of the water for filling the trucks comes from creeks. None of the bacteria are known to be in WV. The rub is that due to oil patch operations trucks go to WV from other states including as far away as Texas. That means the bacteria can be transported in with residual water in a carbon steel tank and then infect WV water sources.

Did the chief ever have the H2O2 added as needed. NO! It's worse when you consider the builder sent two 55 gal. barrels of H2O2 with the truck.

I could bore you to tears with more stories like that. Is he a racist? I don't know. Is he a dumb ass? Absolutely.

I won't get into firefighter stories about being blocked when trying to operate at an incident or having people ignore sirens and flashing red lights when running to a scene. I suspect that was why he thought the shirt was appropriate at least from his POV.
