The orange hair fuhrer is speaking, spewing toxic lies about how everyone is DOING REALLY WELL and we were more united than ever until the PLAGUE came.

Just attacked D governor of NC, saying everything will open from covid19 shutdown on November 4.

Somebody assassinate him, PLEASE!

Does this represent a strange honesty by the RNC ? ? ?

No party platform.

I can’t watch - the 10 minutes I saw earlier today made me want to vomit. I can’t believe anyone believes a word Trump says anymore- it makes me crazy to think those people run into the millions.

I’m not going to be okay with a second term.

Yeah, "everything our supreme leader has ever done and everything he ever will do is always right" could not have sounded more like Stalinist Russia if they had tried to imitate it.

They'll disarm you, empty the prisons, lock you in your home, and invite MS-13 to live next door,' Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said of Democrats in his GOP convention speech.

Oh come on, a second term of Trump would be hysterically funny.. (not if you live there , obvs...)

I tuned in for about 5 minutes; they had a woman screaming her speech like she was at a pep rally in an empty auditorium; a couple of minutes was all I could take. Given that idiocy, the quote by Gaetz hardly surprises. I'll just skip it and read the summaries the next day.

I’m guessing that was Kimberly Guilfoyle, one time liberal wife of Gavin Newsom, current live in girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr.

Jokes on the internet this morning that you could hear her speech even if you hadn’t turned the TV on at all. She’s a freak.

"Unhinged" is a term that is oft overused, but in her case...

Unhinged may be overused lately, but it may be the best way to describe the current administration and his sycophants.

As Lee Marvin says:

It really is not very funny from this side.

BTW I did not know that Guilfoyle was the ex-wife of Gavin Newsom. I come here to learn stuff.

PPS - I see that you made the same point Gob: I ramped up the font size to 100 in the quote above . . .

My eyesight isn't what it was.

It was her; she seemed like a complete idiot--a good reason to turn the convention coverage off.

About as funny as a severe case of the clap.

Here is night one, courtesy of The Lincoln Project with commentary before & after from former Republicans and Republicans Against Trump.

Now that the GOP has nominated this autocratic narcissist for reelection and endorsed his agenda without reservation, blowing off the obligatory party platform, and holding a convention of hatred toward over half the population, is it okay to start talking about the rise of Nazism?

For a chilling eye opening, please go listen to today’s episode of the podcast The New Abnormal, an interview with Miles Taylor, former DHS chief of staff, and hear what Trump talked about in meetings about immigration and the border wall. Hear his detailed requests about methods that would most effectively maim border crossers.

If he gets 4 more, it might actually become 12 more (Ivanka as our first woman president?) and our country may see unrelentingly savage federal government policies inflicted on those of us who aren’t brownshirts. Are you ready?

She called herself a 1st generation American immigrant, but her mother was from Puerto Rico, and was born well after 1917!

The clips I’ve seen are gross. And just imagine, she was one half of a very liberal power couple in CA not even 20 years ago! She’s obviously a deeply shallow person.

Here’s an interesting piece about Guilfoyle’s departure from FOX news, where she was apparently under investigation for sexual harassment when she suddenly got another job with a pro-Trump PAC.
