Farewell to the Dean

David Broder passed away today. He has been one of the best political commentators for a long time. I always felt a bit smarter when I read one of his columns or listened to him on one of the shows. His insight and reasonableness will be missed.

For an alternative view:
"What can you say about a man like David Broder? He was, uh, around. Till the end! Yeah. RIP."
Still, why couldn't the Reaper have taken Charles Krauthammer instead? Or Richard Cohen? Neither has demonstrated any sign of brain function for years.
