Are y’all watching this insanity over Marjorie Taylor QAnon Greene, as nearly all the Grand Q Party rises up to defend her right to engage in the rhetoric of political violence?
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!?!
RepubliQunts have lost the plot entirely.

I don't know who it was on CNN, which I watched for less than 10 minutes this evening, but he was a republican and he was defending Q-Greene on Chris Cuomo's show. His argument is that all those conspiracies she pushed were prior to when she was elected. Also, as you know, she now claims that she no longer believes that school shootings were staged and that it wasn't an airplane that hit the Pentagon.
I would like to have seen Cuomo ask the guy if Greene had committed murder prior to being elected to the House and then said she doesn't believe in murder anymore, would that be okay?
I didn't hear her specifically disavow the claim that Jewish space lasers started the California wildfires. I guess Republicans figure that one is still acceptable to believe.

And as long as the Republicans stay as crazy as they are, he will enjoy, to quote 'Maverick' from the movie "Top Gun", 'a target-rich environment' for years to come. -"BB"-
Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
Yeah, she said she was allowed to believe things that weren’t true.
What does that mean? Who allowed it?
Who says she can't? People have a right to be assholes, and also to vote for assholes. But I see no problem the House couldn't strip her of her committee assignments; I'm old enough to expel Adam Clayton Powell (also an asshole), and found out they did not (not to mention his district elected him to fill the vacancy left by his expulsion), but they can control internal procedures. Surprisingly (or maybe not so) it was a pretty close vote.
As for "political violence" rhetoric, if they are crimes the justice department can prosecute her.
The GOP proves again that there is no bar low enough for them.
They are either on-board with the deranged conspiracists, white supremacists and domestic terrorists that constitute their "base" or they are spineless cowards licking the boots of that base.
But having MTG making noise and spinning her wheels for the next 18 months will help remind the non-insane why the Republicans need to be thumped again in the mid-terms.

I am very hopeful that this is an accurate vision of the future.
Biden has a 60+% approval rating as of today and the Democrats are moving forward on an ambitious covid relief plan by budget reconciliation, but they’ve been making a very public record of their attempts to gain bipartisan support within Congress. They already have bipartisan support in the population, which approves of the various aspects of the relief plan at 60-70%.
Let the GQP keep tunneling down the QAnon white supremacy rabbit hole. Let them defend Trump despite all the evidence of the horrors of January 6. Let them keep going on record - on videos for sharing all over social media - revealing themselves as cowards, enablers, and monsters. Let the few remaining Republicans of principle try to save the party from itself, let there be infighting and ugliness and let the party be torn asunder - it must be, for what it has become.

They said that with Watergate too, and it only took one Carter term to get the republicans the presidency back. I'd love to see a split in the party, but I doubt we will.
I remember when the left believed Kennedy was killed by the Klan or the conservative CIA, but not that democratic, non-violent Fidel Castro. And I do consider the 2020 presidential vote suspicious there were too many easy to cheat with paper ballots. Doctor Cornish Ph.D. once said, “ The thing to remember about politics is that people will lie, cheat and steal.”
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

THAT GOP went to Nixon and demanded he resign, or be removed.
Watergate is past being a useful comparison to the insanity and criminality of the Trump administration and the decline of today’s GQP.

Hey, give him a break, he probably heard it from the same guy who told him that Europeans don't eat corn, Canada was an ally of the Soviet Union, and Africans don't ride horses.
