I can’t help but wonder if he was well treated in his infirmity, as reviled as he is by so many Russians.
Surely the long view of history will treat him kindly? But in this short term I guess he was in part responsible for the rise of the monster Putin, while far too many Russians still mourn the fall of the Soviet Union.
