This piece in Politico today.

Trump all over the media all the damn time. I’m not watching it these days, but I decided to watch a little tonight. (Good panel on Joy Reid - who I sometimes love and sometimes don’t.)

I have worked so much on my mental and physical health this last year, part of which has been tuning out most of the time and filling the space with other stuff so I could try to pretend DJT doesn’t exist or at least doesn’t really have a chance at reelection.

But as the presidential election year is upon us I am feeling a clench in my stomach whenever my mind strays to politics. No actually I lied, it’s existential dread.

Is this really possibly going to happen to our country???

I feel like a battered citizen, with my abuser banging relentlessly on the door and I don’t know if the po po will arrive in time.*



*No, I don’t make this analogy lightly

don t worry bsg

there will not be a free and fair election

there may not even be an election

trump will not be president again

there will be civil war

the country will divide and descend into chaos

there will be starvation and genocide

most urban and suburban whites will be slaughtered by the millions of military aged male immigrants and the black supremicists

china will unleash disease and poison upon us

genetically programmed diseases to specifically target white and black people

but don t worry, at least trump won t be president
