Russia has broken the stalemate?

Russia is losing naval ships in the black sea. The supply lines for Crimea as drying up. Ukraine is now shipping food commodities in amounts slightly greater than before the Russian invasion. (source: BBC last night.)

Well, time will tell the tale. I just hope that Biden cares more about the future of the young people of this nation than he does about political power, but so far I am not highly impressed. I keep thinking about what I heard Obama said about Biden. “Never underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up.” If Obama didn’t say it he should have, because that is how it looks. I have been accused of being a pessimist in the past, but I think being a pessimist is good if your pessimistic you will be disappointed less often.

This goes beyond politics; this is more important than any political leader’s future this is about the future of our babies and as far as I’m concerned there’s nothing more important.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

Being a pessimist means that you are always disappointed.

No, a pessimist is always either disappointed* or pleasantly surprised.

A true pessimist would find something wrong with a successful outcome...

Well there is a cloud with every silver lining, isn't there?

If at first you don't succeed, give up.

Tucker really gets his nose right up in there. More than you'd think he could

That's not the way it works with me. I know that Murphy's out to get me, but I ain't going to make it easy for the son of a bitch. If he does get me, I'm going to be watching even harder for the next time.

I know if I allow myself to come in contact with a train there is going to be a very bad outcome. Murphy is waiting for the time to strike. I have programmed myself to stop or slow whenever I see railroad tracks, I stop and look both ways. A couple times I failed to do that; I turned my car around and went back over the tracks and did it right. I have formed a habit and stop or slow at railroad crosses whether they are gated or not. If I ever fail to do it, I do remedial training.

When I make up my mind to do something, I usually do it.
