News Alert!: In an unanticipated move, Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against himself. The lawsuit contends that in the past when he claimed that mail-in voting was corrupt, he unfairly and negatively affected his current chances to be re-elected.
At a press conference held in front of his Mar-A-Lago estate the former president said, "Those videos of me discouraging mail-in voting were made under duress and coercion from the former me who I no longer am. My wife, Nikki Haley, is preparing my favorite dinner. She has learned how to cook the best cheeseburgers, like no one has ever seen before."
Trump's newly hired lawyer, Caitlyn Jenner, announced that the trial date has not yet been scheduled but it is possible that he will be in court on the day of the debate this Thursday. "Since Mr Trump sir is both the complainant and the adverse party the lawsuit is going to take many hours. We are currently preparing opposing arguments to our complaint.... so buckle up buckarooz," Caitlyn proclaimed.
Mr Trump also released a statement on his website, Truth Social, "We don't know who the judge is going to be in this case but he or she will be a corrupt democrat and I will not get a fair trial. The judge should be recused and sent to Gitmo - and by the way - the deep state is ruining this country and hamburgers are more expensive than ever in the history of the world, I can tell you that".
Melania, who was hiding nearby in the bushes, had no comment.
I know it's fake news because Caitlyn Jenner hasn't passed the California Bar exam any more than her stepdaughter Kim.
Silly question ... why must a lawyer need to have satisfactorily passed a bar exam to be allowed to practice law in court — but a defendant, with absolutely no law school education whatsoever, is allowed to appear and represent themselves?
If they'll allow an unqualified person to represent themselves in a court of law, what the problem with allowing a well-meaning but unqualified person to represent said unqualified defendant? -"BB"-
Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Probably because people have the constitutional right to competent counsel.
