Once upon a time, an ectopic pregnancy was always treated as a life threatening emergency, because that's what it is.

Now doctors have to be concerned with whether they are going to be charged with murder if they do what is necessary to save a woman's life.

In what universe is this ok?

There is less than zero possibility of survival of an ectopically implanted fetus.

Yet the less than zero chance of sustaining fetal life is valued more than the life of an adult American woman.
