Just in case you haven't seen this - "MS13" was photoshopped on what is apparently Abrego Garcia''s knuckles in a photo that Trump has seen. Trump gets corrected and comes unglued. This is just a clip from a longer interview. His brain begins to slip at 0:35 .......
Trump Can't Handle the Truth
Re: Trump Can't Handle the Truth
And this is the guy who was elected by a majority of Americans.
Sadly, we're getting what we deserve. And it may drag the whole country down the drain. It was nice while it lasted.

Re: Trump Can't Handle the Truth
Just a reminder ... In the 2024 election, Trump received 77,284,118 votes, or 49.8 percent of the votes cast for president. This means that 50.2 percent of the voters cast their ballots for Kamala Harris or one of the alternate parties, like the Libertarians or Greens — so in terms of the popular vote, more people voted for someone NOT named Trump for president than voted for Trump in 2024, and his margin of victory over Harris was only 1.5 percentage points.
The other thing to remember is that more than 155 million Americans voted in 2024 — however, this was only 63.9 percent of eligible voters. Simple math tells me then that 36.1 percent of Americans didn't vote for ANYBODY!! Maybe they were so fed up with the whole shitty business, or they knew that the fix was in and the guy with the deepest pockets would win regardless, or some of the GOP's stunts to hinder the voting process among certain demographics had the desired effect, so they ended up staying home — but this means out of all 244 million-plus eligible voters in America, less than one-third of them voted for the orange turd in the punchbowl.
Hardly the 'landslide' and/or 'mandate' that Trump is trying to claim for himself.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
Re: Trump Can't Handle the Truth
Point taken BB; but he had a pretty convincing lead in the electoral college (something like 80 or 90 votes ahead of Harris as I recall)n . And, as for the people who chose not to vote, they might as well have voted for Trump. I know in my state the nonvoters almost handed the electoral votes to Trump, so I still hold that we're getting what we deserve. I was no real fan of Harris (or Biden before her), but there is no way I could have not voted against Trump and really don't understand persons who didn't want Trump as president refraining from voting--I blame them more for his election than his supporters.
We are getting what we as a nation deserve.

In the last several years I've had too much time on my hands and as a result have spent far too much time on social media.
QAnon
Pandemic conspiracy theories and sofa science experts in virology and vaccinology
Trump
Commonwealth v. Karen Read
Trans kids
Etc.
This country is a cesspool of stupidity and we probably don't deserve to exist anymore. Canada should annex us but they likely wouldn't want so many idiots joining their population, either.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
