Trump says Putin plans to retaliate for Ukraine’s airfield drone attack
So much for ending the war in 24 hours. Has Trump given up on convincing his "good friend" Putin to come to the path of peace, such that he is relegated to passing on messages of Putin's plans for continued war?
Oh, how lowly has the formerly great United States of America become.

At times, it's really hard to be polite when someone writes something truly stupid. For example, saying that Trump is anybody's water boy is just absurd—because in order to be a water boy, he would have to be able to take orders. Trump is incapable of taking orders from anyone, except his father, who is now dead. If it had not been for his father, he would have starved to death. He needed a job where he could start at the top. What an idiot Shit Head is!

The term used was "errand boy" which was appropriate since Donald is spreading Putin's message for him.

Google A/I has some advice for you:
"Choose words and actions carefully, thoughtfully, and deliberately. For example, 'I'll be mindful of what I say'."

Trump is Putin's useful idiot. liberty didn't you watch any Russian spy stuff back in the day? This should be obvious to you even as thick as you often are.

It means the same thing; carrying water for someone means that you are promoting their agenda, their ideas, and supporting them. The only person Trump is supporting is himself. He believes he's the world's greatest salesman; he can lay on the charm, flatter, be agreeable and sell anything to anybody. That works for some people, but not for many, in fact. I, for one, can't be sold anything I don’t want. So, Trump is not supporting Putin's agenda; he's supporting his own. What he's doing is probably detrimental to our interests, and he's being foolish, but it's not meant to support Putin.

The only way to convince Putin to stop the war is to hurt him so severely, industrially and militarily, that he has to worry about a czar-style revolt in Russia. That would cost us a lot of money, but it can be done. It might be more efficient to simply help Ukrainians build their own weapons; however, I am deeply concerned about the cost of the war, as our financial situation in this country is becoming critical.
So, I ask: Has anyone ever considered a more efficient way to produce weapons at a lower cost? One idea might be to manufacture them in Puerto Rico, where the wage scale is lower. On the other hand, Puerto Rico is home to many communists, which raises concerns about potential sabotage.

I am familiar with 'useful idiots' during the Cold War. I was a careful observer and saw many idealistic young people in the United States eagerly carrying water for the Communist Worldwide Revolution.

Of course Trump's only interest is himself.
But Putin is playing Trump like a balalaika....
