Gun Control

Last weekend we experienced multiple mass shootings, I think seven although it is getting hard to keep track.
One of those mass shootings involved a Marine veteran who used an AR-15 to slaughter some folks at a waterfront eatery/bar in NC. See story here: https://abcnews.go.com/US/nigel-edge-no ... =126034075
Here you can peruse the federal district court ruling dismissing the shooter's lawsuit against the USA, his parents, and various other defendants alleging a bunch of weird shit clearly indicating serious mental illness; this order was issued in March of this year:

North Carolina doesn't have a red flag law, although one has since been proposed (again) by the Democratic governor in the wake of this massacre of innocents.
The internet tells me that in 2022, 87% of North Carolinians expressed support for a red flag law. https://www.ncgv.org/extreme-risk-prote ... flag%20law.
WTAF??? How do we break the stranglehold of the NRA on our elected officials???
