Sure Pastor Doug is a real pastor. The question: is he a real disciple of Jesus of Nazareth? That also has an easy answer.

Is 'Pastor' like, say, Doctor or Coach or Maestro - some sort of title given to you by a qualified person or body that awards these titles based on some sort of objective criteria? Or is it a title one awards oneself? I've known - and I am thinking of one person specifically, someone with whom I worked very closely - a pastor whom was an absolute turd of a man. I'm sure that on Sunday he said all the right things but the rest of the week he was one of the most unChristian people I have ever met.
