The most amazing thing about this story is that it was hidden for ten years. Hard to fathom in this day.

You can have anything you want, if you have enough money.

I presume Arnold has been supporting the woman and child in the ensuing years, which, in our culture, constitutes "doing the right thing."

As opposed to a culture where supporting the children one conceives would constitute "doing the wrong thing"?

In my book, 'doing the right thing' means acknowledging paternity and having an active parenting role in a child's life.

Not cuckolding your wife, children and extended family and being a party to another person's cuckolding of her husband, child(ren) and extended family.

He's a prick. I hope he falls flat on his face in any other endeavor at which he attempts to succeed in future - but knowing the moral bankruptcy of our 'culture', I'm sure that won't be the case.

Is she tasty? I've always thought Arnie's missus was hot as hell, so what fool hired help horny enough to tempt the big fella?

Let's face it, if you're rich and famous, and not unattractive (Woods, Arnie, Warne) then you are going to want to, and will be able to, screw some pretty gorgeous women, more than one at a time even.

Did he say "Hasta la vista, baby"' or "I'll be back"?

To be fair, we'd have to see what she looked like 14 years ago.

It was a sham marriage anyway.

They were just trying to breed a bullet-proof Kennedy.

Fergoodnesssake you're a "Lookist" Gob.

What on EARTH does her appearance have to do with how filthy she'd be to bed?

Clearly Maureen Dowd at the NYTimes is a PlanB lurker. In yesterday's column, she co-opted Sue's "Sperminator" nom de guerre.

Ya gotta say one thing for Arnold...

He's a helluva lot better actor than anyone ever thought....

And the housekeeper is no slouch as a thespian either....

This woman worked for him and Maria for twenty years.... (up until this past January)

For the past 13 years, (since the child was born...one week after one of Arnold's and Maria's kids were born btw)

Both Arnold and the housekeeper have managed to keep a poker face about this to the point that in all that time, Maria never knew a thing. (And Maria Shriver is no dummy; she was fully aware of her husband's weakness for the ladies, and being a member of the Kennedy Clan, she was doubly aware of the propensity for good looking wealthy men with strong libido's to stray)

And in this time of rectal exams for every public official or would be public official (and despite a spirited effort by numerous members of the press to dig up all the dirt they could on Arnold when he was running for Governor) they managed to keep this completely out of the press...

This requires a level of compartmentalization discipline that even Bill Clinton would envy....

Of course none of this changes the fact that Arnold is a pig.

In all fairness, SMF, Arnold never portrayed himself as "squeaky clean" ...

He did, however portray his roamin' days as in the past, (much like Clinton did) and his wife vouched for his integrity, (again, much as in the Clinton case)...

His political career was over anyway...Governor of California is a top tier job...the only places you can go from there are the Presidency, (which he was barred from due to not being a native born citizen) or the Senate, (which he would have had no interest in...being a junior member of a group of 100 ain't Arnold's style)

I doubt this will have much impact on what he would otherwise do in Hollywood....

The public is used to this sort of behavior from show biz folks...

Arnold Schwarzenegger's former housekeeper has spoken out about having a child with the ex-California governor, saying her son Joseph only learned about a year ago who his father was.

Mildred Baena has kept a low profile since the revelations of her affair with the former California governor sparked a tabloid frenzy.

The scandal exploded into public view after Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver announced in May that they were splitting up after 25 years of marriage. Then came an admission by the former two-term governor a week later that he fathered a child with a member of the household staff. Baena reportedly worked for Schwarzenegger and Shriver for 20 years.

In an interview published on Tuesday by Hello! magazine, Baena said that when her now 13-year-old son, Joseph, learned who his father was his response was simply: "Cool!"

The mother and son posed for the magazine in one of the first published pictures of Joseph — both with slight smiles, Baena perched behind her son with her hand on his arm.

Baena said she wasn't initially certain Schwarzenegger was the father but started to see a resemblance in her son as Joseph grew older.

"It became more apparent as time went on," the former housekeeper said. "I knew Arnold was the father, and maybe as Joseph got older and began to look like him, he [Arnold] wondered. But he never said anything to me."

She said Shriver also grew suspicious as whispers circulated in the household over the similarities between Joseph and her boss. Baena said Shriver finally asked "point blank" if the boy was Schwarzenegger's son, and was "so strong" when faced with the truth.

"She cried with me and told me to get off my knees," Baena said. "We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes two."

Schwarzenegger has put his Hollywood comeback on hold to sort out his personal life in the aftermath of the scandal, and Baena stressed that the former governor is "a good man".

"I know he's suffering too," she said. "He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out."

Schwarzenegger spokesman Adam Mendelsohn and Shriver spokesman Matthew DiGirolamo said they had no comment on the report.

Dear god, you cannot tell me that someone in Arnie's position couldn't get a Playboy model or the like if he had to go get someone up the duff...
