"When you grow up you find out that life isn’t the way you imagined it, and President Obama means well. I think he’s actually a good guy. He has no f***ing idea what the world is like because he doesn’t have to live there," KISS vocalist and guitarist told CNBC.
"The most pathetic body on the face of the planet." Simmons called the U.N. a "paper tiger" that allows dictators to spread propaganda.

Everyone's a pundit these days...
Everyone's a pundit these days...
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: Everyone's a pundit these days...
Simmons has long had a willingness to say whatever is on his mind...
I'll never forget the number he did on Terry Gross, on her NPR program, "Fresh Air"...
Yeah, she got some "fresh air" that night...I was listening to the program on my way home from work, and I had to get off the road and park because I was laughing so hard I was afraid I might get in an accident....that "interview" was quite possibly the funniest thing ever broadcast on radio...certainly the funniest thing ever broadcast on NPR...
But I have to take issue with Gene's characterization of the UN as a "paper tiger"...
A "paper tiger" is something that looks ferocious and formidable, but in reality has no teeth....
There is absolutely nothing about the United Nations that makes it look the slightest bit ferocious or formidable. There is no way anyone could ever mistake it for being ferocious and formidable.
"Paper mouse" would be much more appropriate...
