California continues their rapid decline

Post by Liberty1 »

For a state that is billions of dollars in debt and going down the tubes faster than pretty much any other state, California continues to focus on minutia and irrelevant issues.

http://news.yahoo.com/california-lawmak ... 38470.html

This is not my opinion, but one I largely agree with.

I thought gay was just a normal way of expressing love towards another human being? Why the hell would it be necessary to accompany the reporting of some pivotal moment or invention with what the person does in bed?

This is ludicrous. I demand equal time. History books should note that our first president, Washington, was a heterosexual who banged his wife 3 times a week and was partial to the missionary position.

See how stupid this is?

Gays like to believe that gayness is somehow more than just what they are physically attracted to. This fantasy is meant to marginalize heterosexuality as pedestrian and vanilla compared to their… um… fudge.

Hate to break it to you. That attitude makes you a douche, and sets the gay agenda backward, as it were.

For the same reason it's necessary to accompany the reporting of some pivotal moment or invention with what color of skin a person has.

Equally as immaterial.

I know....

What about Bald People? How can they leave out an entire group of people like that? Or Vegetarians? Or obese people, or each indiviual group of handicapped people? Drug Addicts and Alcoholics! Do you know how badly addicts have been discriminated against and held back in this country? Not to mention Felons…

The more leftests say they want to “bring us together”, the more they fracture us into segments.

Can people just be people and not hyphenated Americans?

That in itself is a sweeping generalisation. It's like saying that all black people are great athletes or all Russians are pimps/child snatchers.

However, it has always intrigued me as to why some homosexuals define their whole persona by their sexuality. Can anybody shed some light on this?
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

What do you mean by that? Every gay man and lesbian I know has way more going on in their days than their sex lives; they have work lives and all the issues that brings, homes to maintain, groceries to buy and dinner to cook; some have spouses and kids, some are looking for Mr./Ms. Right, some are just looking. I don't know anyone, straight or gay, who defines their whole persona by their sexuality; such a person would be no more than a cartoon. If there is some actual person you know who fits this description, perhaps you're only being shown one aspect of his/her personality that's being shown for a particular reason, or perhaps you're stereotyping based on someone camping it up for an occasion.

That would be defining one's life Sue... I'm talking about persona. I'm talking about those who are a living, breathing sterotype. It's hard for me to explain without sounding offensive so here is a caricature of the stereotype. :)

My brother-in-law was like that. And why, I don’t know.
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

Feel the vibes in Taos before your journey.

Upon arrival in SoCal, venture out to Venice beach to become acclimated.

Arrive at your BizMeeting refreshed, chipper and ready to mano-a-mano with the cretins.

You'll be a better person for the experience, you're wound to d@amn tight as it is.

How about this: Since they have proven they are not capable of governing themselves abolish their statehood and make California a federal controlled territory. David Vitter can chair the territory of California over site committee. He would make you guys some a good laws. :)

I'm in Albuquerque, about 50 miles from the fire in Los Alamos, but I can see the smoke from my office window. The smoke has not affected us much down here, but the Wallow fire in Arizona and NM really smoked us out a few weeks back. It smelled like a campfire outside for a couple of weeks. At times you couldn't see much more than a half mile, in a place where you can usually see for hundreds of miles.

I go to Venice periodically, but also like to visit the Manhatan beach area

Ah, so a cartoon, then -- the mincing dress-up doll. I guess it's similar to people who work to project a "dumb blonde" persona, basically overemphasizing some aspect of their personality. Maybe it's overcompensation for underlying insecurty, maybe it's the thing they think others find attractive (or repulsive, if it's a rebellion kind of thing), or maybe it's just the only thing they have going for them. I think generally people tend to be a little cartoon-y when they're trying to figure out who they are and get comfortable with it. But most of us go on to settle down into our gray flannel lives of quiet desperation.

Why?

I thought you stated Southern California was a "sh-thole".

We in NorCal might agree, but then again there's San Diego.

One of my all time favOrite places for a good time.! :ok

The lesser of the evils basically, if I got to be there, I might as well eat well.

I spent a week in San Diego last year, it's OK, but still way too many people and the traffic sucks.

One of the main reasons I live in New Mexico, aside from the perfect climate and diverse landscapes, is the number of people. Just to give you an idea, NM is one of the largest states and has 3 US representitives. Orange county Ca, has 6.
