Now if the Republicans were not also chronic liars they would be admitting that their programe was a mistake, apologizing for the worst government in 100 years, and telling us what they will do differently.

What they're doing instead is committing treason by preventing the government from functioning so they can get back in power and do the same thing again. How stupid are their voters?

The Republican party has done more harm to us than the Russians, or all of the rest of the global communist conspiracy taken together ever did.

The Democrats deserve a party of opposition not led by vicious rhesus monkeys.

I don't believe that all republicans are equal, nor are they evil - even though I'm not one of them.

To put all republicans into one category, criticize them and blame them for everything that is wrong in the world is not only wrong - it is silly and hateful.

It's equal to being prejudice against a race or minority.

I don't understand how anyone can think like that.

But maybe that's just me.

I wasn't going to post anything in this thread, (since the thread's intent is obvious...the next time he starts one of these I don't plan on posting in it.) but I did want to thank @W and Joe for standing up and expressing the sentiments they expressed.

The only thing I would add is that it seems to me that the language employed in the OP is a splendid example of precisely what has gone so wrong with political dialog in this country over the past few years.

Accusing those on the other side of the political divide of "treason" etc., is just the sort of toxic, rancid rhetoric that has had such a poisonous and coarsening effect on political discourse. It creates nothing but roadblocks to trying to reach any sort of understanding. If you see the people on the other side as "traitors" how can you possibly work with them? Or support any politician who would work with them? It's completely self defeating.

The sort of hate filled venom expressed in the OP does nothing but detract from the dialog. It provides nothing of value. It really has no place in any serious political discussion, and should be condemned whenever it is spewed forth; whether it comes from the right or the left.
