I'm sure terrorists are completely uninterested in kidnapping the children belonging to the President of the United States of America. That's something they just wouldn't think of doing.

Hmmm it is interesting how many conservative groups or organizing issues appear to be imploding nearly simultaneously:
The illegal immigration issue appears to have become a large enough liability that they are 're-tuning' their platform. This is after years of beating on the "immigrants are destroying the country and stealing our resources" drum.
It has finally occurred to the cynical realists of the Republican party, like "Newtie" that opposing Homosexual marriage is a losing strategy when the younger cohorts of voters are all on the other side.
It is becoming increasingly obvious to all that global warming is a dire and emergent problem and it won't be made to go away by lying about it.
The whinging about the deficit (the deficit they created, btw) in an era when austerity is driving many in the G-20 into deeper and recurrent recessions is losing what few thoughtful voters they have.
And now the NRA has slipped so far into patently dishonest sloganeering that moral people won't want to be in the same room with them.
Is the world really changing for the better again? Or is this just a last ray of hope before the darkness?

Apparently the NRA bought into a lie supplied by breitbart.com. President Obama's daughters are only guarded by Secret Service personnel, as required by law, the school has no other armed personnel.
