An angel-faced eight-year-old has been branded a 'Jekyll and Hyde horror' by his own mother after a string of vicious temper tantrums.
Kieran Prickett has been expelled from primary school after hitting a teacher, set fire to the family home, pushed his grandfather down some stairs and even tortured the dog.
He was also found hanging out of an upstairs window by just his fingertips and caught jumping up and down on a neighbour's car.
The youngster has since been diagnosed as having attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
But he was permanently excluded from Northbrook Primary in Leyland, Lancashire for 'aggressive behaviour' towards staff and pupils, assaulting a teaching assistant.
He would run away from classes and sometimes be found playing near a motorway.
Mother Kelly, 28, has had to give up her job as a care worker to look after Kieran.
To make matters worse, father Kevin, 30, was laid off from his bricklaying job two years ago.
Now Kelly has admitted she is at the 'end of her tether' - then condemned social services for not doing enough to help her.
She said: 'We have the summer holiday now but Kieran will be stuck inside the house as I will be too worried to let him out.
'When you first meet him he can be lovely and you think "Oh he's not that bad".
