I get the New York Times because I like their in depth foreign news coverage, (and the Tuesday Science section and the Sunday Book Review)

And I get The Chronicle for the comics...(and then after I've read the Op-ed columns and the Letters To The Editor, I move on to the funnies.........badabing' shush! )

I suppose I could get all that stuff on line, but like oldr, I just prefer the tactile relationship with the actual paper...

I spend enough time staring at computer screens...

Besides, I'd have trouble lining the parrot's cage with a tablet or an I-pad....

Or getting the wood to catch in the fireplace with one...
