Welcome to the redneck capital of the world

Post by Miles »

For many years I thought Du Bois, Pa. was the center of the redneck world. I found out it is not. Butler, Pa. is definately the place. Yesterday I saw the proof. Someone made a grill and was cooking on it. The grill was constructed using a rim from a car laying flat on two cement blocks usning a rack from a refrgerator as a cook top. I don't think you can get more redneck than that. :shrug
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.

In Canberra we have an area called "Charnwood" or "Charney" for short. It is known as the Bogan, (Aussie rednecks/chavs) centre for Canberra...

I have seen firepits made from old truck rims for years...first one I saw was in Maine, maybe 25 years ago.

Redneck?

Re-purposing used equipment is totally a green thing.

Why waste resources buying a grill when you have a perfectly good tire rim and refrigerator rack?

Nice going dales.

Now you've got me wishing I'd never donated my 1972 Super Beetle to charity. I knew it was still good for something.

I wonder why I didn't think of placing a barbeque grill over the gas tank?
