Wine Not?
Re: Wine Not?
Joe--if you're saying most people starting drinking any alcohol (usually as kids) because of the buzz that came a long with it, you might be right; but if you're saying people drink everything alcoholic (or choose to drink alcoholic beverages) because of the buzz, I have to disagree. Again, some things are drunk for taste, some for the buzz. One usually doesn't drink enough of a fine wine or fine liquor in one sitting to get the buzz--they drink it for the taste and other enjoyment. They might also drink a pitcher of margaritas for the buzz, but they didn't choose to try that expensive single malt scotch because they thought it would give a better buzz than the rotgut. Some might be different, but I would think most people who choose to drink booze that is ordinarily savored in this category.

Re: Wine Not?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
