Re: Execution
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Execution
Dwarves, sorry.
But I will happily wait to hear from a range of law-enforcement professionals about this case. Having worked with them I expect they will be even more harshly critical than I was.

What's doubly hilarious, is that you had to have that joke explained to you before it sunk in to your wee small brain...

And you'd have to sober up to read it. Or, well if it dementia then there's nothing for it.MajGenl.Meade wrote:Perhaps. Keep us informed - we're unable to reach high enough to pull a newspaper out of the machinerubato wrote:Dwarves, sorry.

I am mystified by the vitriol and nastiness. I cannot see that this thread deserves it.
But you are pursuing a failed and rather stupid argument, so perhaps you are ashamed of your mental flabbiness.
Three armed officers who have already taken two knives from him cannot control a paraplegic in a wheelchair without killing him? Because he was going to run away?
Weak. Naturally, you are ashamed of yourselves.

That's not vitriol and nastiness then? Sorry. Thought it wasCops shoot people at the first plausible excuse because that's what they want to do.

Re: Execution
If any mistake was made by the officers it was not restraining him enough after taking his knives. He was still able to reach for his gun. Once he did that they didn't have a lot of options.

RE: EXECUTION OR...
... suicide by cop? Regardless, it appears to me that the tragic outcome could have been avoided if calmer heads had prevailed. I can't help but feel it's termination with extreme prejudice. Once again, the police protecting and serving... themselves.
