Re: A Mass Shooting? Wake Me Up when Something Unusual Happ
Well it was in 1831 that I went to West Point - 16 years old and in the US Military Academy. Didn't enjoy it much but in 1835 I did graduate - 19th out of 56. Took a spot of leave and went a-surveying for the Long Island Railroad - members of the US Engineers were in much demand for civic improvement work. There was the unfortunate time in Florida with the 3rd Artillery when some Seminoles were a bit out of hand but fortunately for me I got a bit of fever and was sent to Massachusetts. That was so boring I quit the army in October 1836 and took various civil engineering jobs. Railroads, border lines - that sort of thing. Met Margaretta and got married in 1840. I do hope you will not ask about the 20s - school days are so uninteresting
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

The Great Depression of the 1930's?
Having heard first hand accounts from my mother and grandmother.
I don't believe I would have desired to live through those years.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
