Beautiful yesterday...kind of damp and overcast today. About the same forecast tomorrow...though I hope the rain forecast tomorrow night and Thursday materializes.

A nice weekend. in the 60's, partly sunny. Got the last of the leaves picked up and winterized the yard furniture and stuff.
I am hoping for snow though. The snowmobiles are ready, now I need momma nature to wake up from her summer snooze and get busy freezing the lakes and drop a bunch of snow.

But she can wait til after Christmas as I am getting a new snowmobile suit for Christmas from my lovely wife. :ok

I wouldn't mind a cold snap either; it's almost winter and it's still near 70.

Today it's windy, wet and quite a bit cooler. Still not Christmas-y, not one bit.

We got a bunch of snow here last night, it's wintry out and the roads suck. 25 right now with an expected high of 28.

Happy??? :arg

Not really, predicting 60 again tomorrow, and perhaps mid-60s here Christmas week.

I know it doesn't feel right to you guys, but I'll sure be happy for mild weather Christmas week and the week after too, hopefully. I'll be on the road headed east by Monday.

Let me know if you swing past Cleveland.... I suppose you'll be on 80/76 whatever... If you get stuck in our area, would be willing to help. You know - gimps can encourage...

We had ski patrol shoveling snow on parts of trails, so that people could get by those parts. We need snow and cold, badly.

It is not just the resorts, but many of the businesses in the area. The resorts bring in (badly needed) money to the area. We are limited in how much season we have, and we are starting a month late.

I'm scheduled to work Christmas day. I don't want to be telling people there is nothing here, when they have paid a boatload for their Vermont Christmas.

It's been in the low to mid 70s here the last few days, haven't even worn a jacket for a couple of weeks, I think. Starting to rain now, though. It's supposed to cool off a bit over the next few days but then be back up to the mid-60s through Christmas.

I just looked up the forecast for Xmas at my sister's in Hudson Valley New York - that's what we'll be enjoying, 60s and rain.
