Where on saturday the snow was pretty much even

Snowfall around here was a little over 22 inches, says the National Weather Service. The town's snowplows cleared my neighborhood's streets but left just enough snow to turn into a massive sheet of ice overnight last night. Very nearly did not make it out of the development this morning. Main roads, however, are fine.

The kids and the dog were thrilled with the whole thing.

The "official" snow accumulation for Farmingville, NY was 21 inches.

We got nary a flake here. The kid in me wanted it bad. The adult is quite happy not have been party to it.
