No, you are not alone. I am against censorship in any form. You never know when someone -- even wesw -- will have a moment of clarity and I wouldn't want to miss it. However, when wesw posts a link I will rarely click on it because I know what to expect. His words are usually enough for me.

Huistres! Ahhh, lovely when you can get them where they are grown r from a trusted restaurant. Tomales, St Malo, and the Calypso restaurant near Carnac Fr. Also at Sierra Mar or Zuni cafe. The gulf coast oysters in N.O. are heeuge and I would never order them again.

But on topic, I don't put people on ignore because that is just childish and Pissy. I'm perfectly capable of ignoring people who bore me.

Duxbury, Island Creek, Wellfleet, Barnstable, Cotuit, East Beach Blonde, Glidden Point, Damariscotta, Belon, Malpeque -- those are just some of the varieties from the cold northeastern waters that the Swede and I have enjoyed in the last year or so.

And of course I grew up on Chesapeakes and Chincoteagues.

Hmmmmm. Oysters. I may need to grab a dozen this weekend....

Oysters - snot on a shell. They are so unbearable, people have to put all manner of things on them to avoid the taste.

My stomach cannot tolerate raw mullosks. Had a bad experience once and since then I cannot keep raw clams of any kind inside me.

But I am good with baked and steamed mullosks.
