Usually if one drops a glass or bottle it breaks and is a hazard to bare feet in the area.
I no longer drink beer, but when I did, I had some glasses, steins and mugs that were for beer/ale/stout only, and specially cleaned, usually with just baking soda, no sudsy detergent and racked dried
Now those glasses are "china closet art".
And yes, my life was yucky, but it is much better now.
