After intentionally acting like a punk ass bitch baby, Dr. Dao collects undisclosed (millions) settlement via extortion of United. Americans cheer his childish behavior. Same people elected Trump.

And some who cheer the airlines getting their well-deserved comeuppance, like myself, wouldn't go near Trump, let alone vote for him (and many of his supporters would side with the airline agains the guy who dared to stand up). Just look at the changes that this "childish behavior" produced--an attitude (or at least apparent understanding) that the airlines serve their customers and can't do whatever they damn well please, enhanced benefits for those involuntarily denied boarding, recognition that the airlines cannot deny boarding to a passenger to accommodate their own employees ... Quite a worthwhile legacy IMHO. Sometimes good things come because one person dares to stand up and say "No".
