Barcelona
Re: Barcelona
Of course not - I'm just shell shocked, or would have started one. The photo on the Daily Mail of the elderly couple lying in a pool of blood - dead, it appeared - just tore my heart out.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Re: Barcelona
Just horrible.
We were there last April visiting the Gaudi buildings and dining at Casa Calvet (his first big commission). Beautiful city and nice people. More people speak English there than anywhere we have gone is France.
But the terrorism hits all of us everywhere and we should respond in solidarity as one. We will not allow them to provoke us into abandoning our identity and values. Their evil is like smalllpox or diptheria, we will search for a vaccine or cure and in the meantimes embrace our human values and behave with dignity and courage..

Re: Barcelona
A horrible day in a lovely city. A couple of my high school classmates are there right now, and were in the city during the attack. They are thankfully safe, but we all mourn for the lives lost.
Rube, well said.
