Things may change upon further investigation, but it seems like the weird patterns of what burned and what didn't (which were what BSG wondered about, and what you criticized her for questioning and said were unknowable) are already explainable (and probably had nothing to do with the relative moisture content in individual trees).

I think this latest bend in the discussion here is important BECAUSE of the extent of the tragedy.

What happened? What can be done differently when these homes are replaced so it does not happen again?
