That’s certainly not an assertion supported by the medical literature - plenty of people in their 50s and 60s survive intubation and/or use of ECMO. Patients 70+ years of age have much diminished success rates with those interventions.

Ech... my second biggest fear over CV19 - intubation. Did that twice with carotid and heart surgeries and thought I was gonna die!
