I believe a penny can kill from sufficient height. However, not from the distance that this bag of tissues was dropped.

Of course that depends on how he tissues are packed, a bag of crumpled up tissues would have a far bigger volume than 5 lbs of tissues densely packed and held in place. But I would bet either would hurt a lot to get hit in the head with,especially if you have some neck problems to begin with.
