It’s a 5000 year old practice, so obviously plenty of people have disagreed with you over the millennia.
I’ve seen some nose rings I really liked - the one in your picture isn’t terribly inspiring. I also like the little diamonds on the side of the nostril.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

The nose jewelry (noselry?) these two below are wearing is the ugliest style I've seen. A nose ring can make an otherwise attractive woman look ugly. I also think it makes them look stupid.
I wonder how much phlegm accumulates on those things throughout the day. Especially on someone who has a cold or allergy and sneezes a few times.
Of course, I support a woman's right to stick things in and around their noses. Just don't expect me to allow you into my house without a mask if you're wearing a gooey mucus mass collector.
22 Now after the camels had finished drinking, the man took out a nose ring of gold weighing a half-shekel and two bracelets on her hands weighing ten shekels of gold. 23 “Whose daughter are you?” he said. “Please tell me. Is there room in your father’s house for us to spend the night?”
24 She said to him, “I’m the daughter of Bethuel, son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor.” 25 She also said to him, “There’s both straw and plenty of feed with us, as well as room to spend the night.”

29 Now Rebekah had a brother and his name was Laban, and Laban ran outside to the man at the spring. 30 As soon as he saw the nose ring and the bracelets on his sister’s hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister saying, “Thus the man said to me,” he went to the man. There he was, standing by the camels at the spring. 31 So he said, “Come in, blessed of Adonai. Why are you standing outside when I’ve tidied up the house and there is room for the camels?”
I know several women with nose piercings. Some attract, some distract. It's the lip piercings that I'm more, ehh... About. But even then, it works for some.
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.
When my lady and I get down to the nitty-gritty, we don't want any odd piercings or jewelry in the way — and that includes earrings (she doesn't have pierced ears). Our rings are enough. -"BB"-
Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
To be fair, I am not a fan of multiple piercings, especially nose piercings, but then, the women are not doing that for me so I just ignore it (FWIW, both of my daughters have nose studs, but it's their choice, not mine).
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
