Lunar Eclipse

Post by ex-khobar Andy »

I didn't expect to see much because it has been raining and cloudy much of the day. But the moon is very clear (just about 125 Eastern as I write) and Earth's shadow is biting away at the bottom of the moon.

2:05 Eastern and there is just a thin sliver at the top of the moon which is in bright sunshine. I have seen a few lunar eclipses and this is one of the best - absolutely clear sky. Spectacular.

It was broken clouds here. And I was working, but as I work outside, I did get to see it about 15 minutes before totality and then during the full eclipse when I got a brief break from towing.
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.
