I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.
Re: What kind of commie are you?
The murdering dictator Mao Zedong once said, 'Power comes from the barrel of a gun,' and he was right. However, the United States is organized in such a way that no one can control all the guns. The federal government has a significant number, but the states also have their own, as do individuals. The federal government undoubtedly has the best military force in the country, but would all of them back a dictator? I don't think so. You know, I’ve met some in the Air Force who said, 'If I was paid enough, I would.' In the past, anyone attempting such a move would face insurmountable obstacles and severe penalties for failure.
Besides the guns, the federal government would also need total control of the news media to keep the people in the dark about what’s happening until it was too late. I think that’s unlikely, as the news media is widely dispersed.
Now, if a you people succeeded in changing the Constitution to alter the federal system as you wanted, it would be much more likely. If the President of the United States, or a committee he controlled, or the Democratic Party appointed governors, mayors, sheriffs, and police chiefs, the federal government would have a total lock on power. Then, you could have your dictator. Even so, I think it’s unlikely.
