As you know, Dolly's husband passed away. I suspect that she won't live much longer either. It seems to me that people who are strongly attached to each other, like Dolly Parton and her husband or the Queen and her husband, don't tend to live long once one or the other passes away. I'll have been married to my wife for over half a century, and I suspect the same thing will happen to me if she passes away. How long have you and your spouse been married?

Dolly
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

Re: Dolly
Well Mr. Liberty in my own case my wife died of pancreatic cancer in 2020. At that time we had been married 55 years. I think I am good for lasting at least another ten. My life was also easier when we shared it together but I have made accomidations.

I'm sorry about your wife, but your ability to adapt is a testament to your grit. I'm not sure that I could do it. Normally, I'm pretty tough, but I do have my Achilles' heels.Burning Petard wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 10:33 pmWell Mr. Liberty in my own case my wife died of pancreatic cancer in 2020.
