Antifa Support Group

Post by BoSoxGal »

How is everybody doing, really? It's been awful quiet in here.

I signed up for a 7 day trial and then when I tried to quit Bezos gave me a cheap subscription to BritBox - $2.25/mo. for three months! I'm burying my head in my Anglophilia and Celtophilia and doing my best to ignore as much as I can.

I've sharpened my pitchfork and the wicks are trimmed and lanterns filled. Ready to rise up when requested. Is someone going to take charge on that end?

It's alarming how normal the surreal can begin to feel, and so quickly. Like we are all just zombies, zombie-walking into . . .

Don't let me hog the floor - I hope others will share how they're feeling and coping in this moment. I need ideas, I only have two more months of BritBox.

How many regular and irregular posters does this site have? From what I can tell, no more than about six to eight. What do you think?
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

BritBox is old hat. Get a good VPN for your laptop and sign up for all BBC and ITV channels (and channel 4) in the UK - find things that BritBox doesn't have (current episodes as well as archived). Bonus: movies that Netflix removed in the USA are still showing in Turkey or Japan or . . . . I use NordVPN myself. $100 per year should do it. Add the HDMI cable and your SmartTV is really smart plus you can do your accounting on the big screen and watch Youtube with less fuss.

Now for BBC - you do need to say you have a TV license (they don't ask for evidence) and give an address in the UK - I used my aunt's neighbors addy but you can just Google Map to find any old address. (I do have license to operate a TV in the USA - don't we all? - so that's a sop to conscience).

Yes lib - the numbers are down
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Any thoughts on why that's the case?

Today I discovered the UK show Would I Lie to You? after just having watched the series Ludwig with David Mitchell in the evening last week. I watched a whole season of Would I Lie to You? over the course of the weekend and I laughed more than I have in many months - and feeling quite good so I’m going to skip turning on the news channels at all until tomorrow because I’m sure something there would ruin my buzz.

Would I Lie to You? is a must see if you are quick thinking and love some witty repartee. I’m so thrilled I have 13 more seasons available to me to watch on BritBox.
