Shame on Boston. You should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing a crowd of privileged, liberal brats, most likely white liberal kids, from well-to-do families to roam the streets harassing elderly people for thrills. These spoiled young liberals have too much money and not enough purpose.
Maybe what they need is a dose of reality: hoe handles and cotton sacks. A couple of years picking beans and plowing fields might strip away the entitlement and inject a bit of empathy into their lives. It's time they understood the struggles of others.

"An 82-year-old man driving through Boston was surrounded and attacked last week by a mob of people riding dirt bikes and ATVs. Now, the Massachusetts State Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the perpetrators."
Shame on Boston.
Shame on Boston.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.
Re: Shame on Boston.
This story is 3.5 years old, FYI.
Here’s an update from after his release from hospital:
These dirt bike mafia gangs are all over eastern Massachusetts and became a big problem during the pandemic and persisting today.
I live in a somewhat rough MA city about an hour from Boston. We have marauding ATVs in our streets at times. I’ve only once encountered them while driving, not that longs ago - but it was only half a dozen going the opposite direction so I got past them very quickly but was gut clenched the whole time.
I live a few blocks distance from a long straight roadway with mostly industrial buildings along it - a very early version of industrial park. Anyway the rogue ATVs and dirt bikes doing drag races up and down that road every night. Fun times!

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Where did you get your information on the race, income and political affiliation of the suspects? Did you read it in your local Redneck MAGAzine?
Re: Shame on Boston.
Come on Joe, we know all bikers are liberals.

No Big, I don't have additional information beyond what I already posted. I analyzed the data available to me, though I acknowledge that my conclusions could be flawed due to limited information. That’s just the reality.
First of all, Massachusetts is a liberal state, so it's likely that the group leans liberal. Based on that, I suspect that many criminals there may also be liberal and might appreciate a more permissive environment.
Second, the fact that the perpetrators were riding dirt bikes and ATVs suggests a certain level of affluence. That doesn’t fit the typical profile often associated with inner-city poverty. Some of the most baffling crimes I’ve come across, such as beating and murdering homeless individuals, have reportedly been committed by white gangs—crimes that seem utterly senseless.
Black individuals often react emotionally and violently to perceived insults, which aren’t always interpreted the same way by others, or may be motivated by financial gain. If I were a cop investigating this case, I’d be looking at a group of bored, wealthy, mostly white kids from well-off families, likely liberal, in my view.
And yes, I do recognize that there are many affluent Black individuals. Nevertheless, I still think the odds support my original hypothesis.
