You know who *else* had a yacht in New Jersey?

Post by Sue U »

So I'm doing some investigation on this case out of a marine salvage yard, and it turns out this is the place where Hitler's yacht, the Aviso Grille, was scrapped. And out of the salvage came ... Hitler's Toilet, which you are apparently welcome to have a go on at the local auto shop.

I know a lot of weird and quirky New Jersey history and folklore, but I had never heard the story of Hitler's Toilet before today.    :o :o :o

Just focussing on toilets here for a while, why are men such notorious non-cleaners of bogs?
The bathroom occupies a back corner of the garage bay. Formerly white walls are stained with decades of splatter and man-grease. The floor's condition is unmentionable. A cardboard box, filled with magazines, serves as a library.

Greg repeatedly referred to his relic as "a working toilet," and it's easy to see why. It's encrusted as only a toilet can be that is never, ever, used by women. "I'm not a good housekeeper," Greg admitted. "It's not pristine or anything." Looking at the toilet, one can't help but wonder whether sinister Hitler DNA is festering beneath its crusty layers -- but what genetic researcher would want to attempt the extraction?
Bah!

When I was doing legislative audit one of the agencies I had to visit was the provincial stockyards where livestock were brought for auction. Not exactly the sort of place where one walked about in Italian shoes without watching one's step. They had to put up a sign in the restrooms that said "Please do not wash your boots in the urinals" because the things kept getting clogged with mud and animal dung from employees doing just that.

Having been an employee of a fast food establishment way back when and having the duty to clean out the bathrooms, I found that women were far filthier when it came to bathroom cleanliness.
There was a "can" for those femenine products, don't know why they saw the need to leave them in the sink or splatter them on the wall.
