Lord Jim is always good for a laugh.

But his puny games simply don't interest me. dgs49, despite being almost invariably wrong, has more to say of substance than does Lord Jim.

Clever turns of phrase, funny pictures, etc. -- they are all entertaining. But when it comes to the drudgery of actual analytical thinking, well, that's when Lord Jim decides he has better things to do.

If he ever wants to get into a reasoned debate, I'll be happy to engage him. Until then, he can just go ono demonstrating that even in a lofty institution such as Mr. Jefferson's University, mere cleverness is all too often mistaken for actual intelligence.

Some of those may be more "not so often" than "gone"; some of them may have posted here recently more than I realize. But it seems to me that none of them posts here enough.

Going back even further, does anybody remember Mad Elf from the DAF?
