Not surprisingly there are a number of comments on this story that the legal drinking age in Oz should be raised to 21 to emulate the States.Teen's head torched in party petrol prank
A PARTY prank involving pouring petrol on a passed-out teenager's head almost ended in tragedy early yesterday.
A 16-year-old suffered burns to his face and hands after his head was set alight at a party in Sydney's north.
Paramedics rushed to the Carlingford house about 1am after another teenager poured petrol on his head and lit it.
The victim was at a 19th birthday party at a house in Pennant Hills Road when he passed out from drinking too much.
"It's alleged that while the youth was unconscious on a mattress in a garage, someone picked up a can of petrol, poured fuel on his head and lit it, possibly as a prank,'' said a police spokesman.
"The youth woke screaming and ran for help.''
He was taken to the Westmead Hospital before being transferred to the burns unit at Concord Hospital.
The teenager was discharged this morning.
Police are investigating the prank and claims of underage drinking.

Surely that just means you get more young people breaking the law.
Does a legal age requirement in the US see that many teens not drinking because it is illegal?
