There's always some debate when using lower energy bullets with hollow points. Penetrating heavy clothing seems to be the sticking point. Of course that would be of some concern due to your location if in fact it really is an issue. You would need to consult someone smarter or at least more informed on this matter than I.
But if I might Hornady makes a really nice HP in .380 called "Critical Defense".
