The CyberSoapBox
Re: The CyberSoapBox
Steve is an interesting character.
For some stupid reason, he seems to believe that if he acts exactly like the type of person he hates, he will make some sort of stupid point.
I'm certain that his current personality is the result of a constant overdosing of Captain Morgan and his contempt for women who have given up on him and the lawyers who have represented them.
I once did, but no longer pity him.
He is one of these...

It’s good to see that we have held up the lofty aspirations of the opening post.
A sufficiently copious dose of bombast drenched in verbose writing is lethal to the truth.
Re: The CyberSoapBox
Yeah, can we leave the CSB at teh CSB please?
It'll be a real trial to attract people here if it's just the same shite all over again.
And new potential new members, from outside, may be put off if they feel excluded from the discussion due to them not knowing the CSB and it's history.
Thanks

You mean the question as to whether or not we will still post at the CSB?tyro wrote:It’s good to see that we have held up the lofty aspirations of the opening post.
The responses seem appropriate to me.
What's the problem?
Re: The CyberSoapBox
It was okay until it became the Steve discussion thread Joe. That's what we are trying to avoid. Problem is, it's easy to slip into...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: The CyberSoapBox
Fine.
I'll quit.
I see it as a natural transition, given the reason this board exists.
But I will now consider the subject of the CSB something that cannot be discussed here.
I'll go over there for that.

Re: The CyberSoapBox
Seems like a solution!
I'll be doing the same myself.
I pledge to always wipe my feet of crap before I settle into posting on this Board

Bah!
Re: The CyberSoapBox
Well, if the posting is more pleasant here, and you can carry on a converstion without it being hijacked into a 'Beware the MOTU!!!' thread, then I see no reason to post there as much.
Re: The CyberSoapBox
fuck that YOu may as well talk about swallow migratory programs.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: The CyberSoapBox
African or European swallows?

You can tell the difference by which one is carrying a coconut.
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.
Re: The CyberSoapBox
They'd have to have it on a line...

Re: The CyberSoapBox
sigh.
That's all. Just sigh.
Nothing in particular. I could have sighed in any thread. I just felt like sighing over here.

Re: The CyberSoapBox
After reading on CSB a bit this morning, I have come to the conclusion that if certain posters from there come here, I will probably not find here to be so pleasant anymore.
It's not hard to see, given the tenor of this board v. that one, who is to blame for the toxic shit over there.

Re: The CyberSoapBox
Hello my name is Keld.
I am a posting addict.
I am NOT an intellectual, I post about things I know absolutley nothing about.
I post on others threads that have posted about things they are VERY familiar with.
Expect nothing but drivel from me and you will not be disappointed.
This is a new board kick back and enjoy the shine...
Tapping foot...OK where's the spell check?

Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is
Re: The CyberSoapBox
keld, keld, keld nobody posting, either here or there, knows what they are talking about. If they/I did, they/I would be out in the real world getting paid for it.
It is all in the bombast.
Once you can call black “gray”, you are a junior member of the MOTB *.
Once you can call black “white”, you become one of them.
At which point we have to start Plan C.
* MOTB = Mothers of the Bombast.
Why is it I have spell checker, and others do not?

Re: The CyberSoapBox
Come on give it a real acronym.
SOLSIM
Sour On Life Stick In the Mud.
The T really doesn't fit very well so we just don't use it...
