Econo posted this link in the "CSB" thread, but I thought it was so good that it should have it's own thread.
It's a link to an archive of old Cafe Darte posts from the summer of 2001 (when it was on it's last legs) that he somehow found.
The link goes to a post of mine, (I believe at the time I posted this I had already pretty much left the CD, but was still checking in occasionally)
But the REALLY wicked cool thing about it, is that you can navigate around the archive and read tons of other posts from lots of posters from that period. (Including some from R. Brown)
Not all of the post links work, (some of them bring up a "this page has not been archived" message) but most of the ones I checked still seem to work...
I thought some folks here might like to poke around over there and then maybe post links to posts from the archive that they find to be particularly prophetic, entertaining, etc.
I thought some of the people here who didn't come from the CD might get a kick out of it to....it gives you a real flavor for what the place was like, (at least at the end) and you'll recognize a number of folks....
To sort of give you the background of what was going on....
The people running the place had just changed the page look from a very straight forward one into a very childish looking deal...
Here's the link:

Yes, those were the "days of wine and roses"

That Bosco sure was an irritating little pr-ckCom'on Carla Babe, can't you do *something* about the Bosco, omar, cloneboy unholy three by mtsmiths on 7/11/01

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
