I have a solution to this, just ignore this thread. Why is everyone so intent on responding to someone who has already told you she is only looking for attention, negative or positive? You are just feeding into it.

Miles, you are of course right, but it's come this far now. I would heartily recommend that others who are not a target of Lo's obsessions stay out of it, I do not think anyone else will gain at all. Unless they enjoy rubbernecking car crashes or the like!

As a practical matter, they've already made it abundantly clear that no matter what you do or say you're not going to gain (or regain) their sympathy, so you might as well stop addressing or even mentioning them, stop beating your head against this particular brick wall, and move on. (Yes, I know, that's much easier said than done, but you're going to have to face up to it eventually. Given all that you've already gone through, I know you can do it.)
