Three times yesterday I ran across the use of "girl" as an insult on this board. And used by men, directed at men. Is "girl" really the lowest of the low? Do you think the posters you're insulting are like your daughters? Haven't we evolved enough to refrain from such behavior? Or maybe the men (should I call you boys) have not??
Enough, please.

Re: Gone Girl Gone
Kinda like people who use the word "gay" to disparege someone or something.........how retarded.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Sorry in advance

Sorry again

Sorry again
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Re: Gone Girl Gone
Don't know if I was one of the offending persons, but I often refer to the females I know as "girls". I would never use it in a derogatory way (at least I don't think I did) toward the ladies here or in RL.
One time when I was in charge of some production females and I refered to them as "girls". Some lady (and I use that term loosely) who worked there started in on me about how they were not "girls". One of my "girls" went up to her and said, "oldr_n_wsr first asked if we minded him calling us girls, and all of us were rather flattered that he refered to us as "girls". So shut your trap and let us do as we were doing".
Yes I did ask as I know how PC this world has become and the ladies (every single one of those helping me were) liked it.
But I'm sorry if I did use "girl" in a derogatory way.

I say that insults are so second grade. If I say something that I believe to be the truth or a valid opinion and you take it as an insult, I am sorry that was not my intention.
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.
Re: Gone Girl Gone
I get called 'girl' at work, but the tone seems entirely affectionate ...so, I allow it
